Oslo Bymuseum, the City Museum at Frogner Manor have a armillary sundial outside their entrance. More photos here.

West wall of Sofus Lies auditorium, Blindern, University of Oslo (59°55'N 10°45'E)

Vertical sundial on a not directly south facing wall. The hour lines are adjusted to Middle European solar time. The sundial also have declination curves.

The colours of the sundial was refreshed in 2002/2003.

Fjell ungdomsskule (60°20'N 05°17'E)

Fjell ungdomsskule is planning an out-doors physics schoolyard. Two sundials will be part of this and the first sundial was installed at June 7th. 2005. More photos here (Norwegian text). More about the project here

Svanøy Hovedgård (61°29'N 05°06'E)

In the collections at Svanøy Hovedgård there is a sundial made of soapstone. (Picture and more information in English is not available.)

Kvernes stave church (63°01'N 07°44'E)

A millennium monument in the shape of a sundial in Averøy municipality. The sundial is next to Kvernes stave church and is made by Rolf Øidvin.

South- and Nothern- Trøndelag

The statue of Olav Tryggvason, Tromdheim (63°36'N 10°25'E)

A horizontal sundial with the statue of Olav Trygvason as a gnomon. The statue is at the centre of a roundabout at Torvet in Trondheim. The hour marks are at the edge of the roundabout. The sundial was designed by Professor Rasmussen and funded by wholesale dealer Dyre Halse and in 1922. More pictures here.

Sverresborg Folk Museum, Trondheim (63°36'N 10°25'E)

A vertical sundial on the south-west facing wall of Giedebogården (Scholdagerveita 4) at Sverresborg, Trøndelag Folk Museum (past the main entrance, by the reception). The sundial is a gift from the architects of the main building; Telje, Torp, Aasen and others. The sundial was designed by Emil Vold at Delfin.

Andenes, Andøya (69°16'N, 16°08'E)

Horizontal sundial with a gnomon in the shape of a globe, designed by Peter Varhelyi. The sundial is read by placing yourself in the shadow of the gnomon. Looking down you'll find the time. Detail of gnomon and dial.

North Cape (71°10'N 25°50'E)

Horizontal sundial of marble. More information and picture here.

The Globe at North Cape have a resemblance of a armillary sundial, but is not a sundial.

Tunnelventilasjon, Tromsø (69°40'N 18°56'E)

A decoration in the shape of a sundial on the air supply vent for a sub-sea tunnel. The sundial was made by the architect firm Borealis Arkitekter AS in cooperation with the artist Gunn Harbitz.

Svalbard

Hornsund (77°00'N 15°28'E)

Sundial at the Polish Polar Station. The sundial is made by Marek Szymocha. This might be the first sundial at Svalbard. Two more pictures.

Longyearbyen (78°13'N 15°38'E)

The Northernmost sundial!

Louise Rigozzi (Australia!) have designed a sundial for Longyearbyen. The sundial is a horizontal dial and is placed near the war memorial. The sundial is crafted by Tony Moss, Lidisfarne Sundials. The picture shows the first sunrays touching the sundial (and the first sunrays in Longyearbyen) at 7th of March 2004. More here!
